Cancellation Policy

You are responsible for attending each appointment and agree to adhere to the following policy:

 

If you cannot keep the scheduled appointment, you MUST notify our office to cancel or reschedule the appointment prior to 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. If you are unable to do so, your payment on file will be charged to cover the session fee. If you miss an appointment without notification or fail to cancel within this 24 hour window, and have an expired or declined credit/HSA card on file, an attempt will be made to assist you in updating your payment method. You will not be able to schedule future appointments until your payment method is current. 

 

We understand that unexpected scenarios do arise. Please contact our office if you have any questions or would like to discuss a cancellation fee or are having trouble paying for services. 

 

Psychotherapy is a uniquely personal service and there may be times where our course of treatment is interrupted.  I may periodically take time off for vacation, seminars, to tend to family matters, and/or become ill.  Attempts will be made to give adequate notice of these events.  If I am unable to contact you directly, a colleague may contact you to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
